On November 27 Gorilla MMA Series returns to the MMA capital of Russia Saint Petersburg after a few months. We prepared a special event for Saint Petersburg citizens. Gorilla MMA Series-45: Peter Strike's main event will contain 5 rounds and 5 minutes fight for the second time in the Series history. A winner will get the Gorilla MMA Series Winner silver title.
Yakov Ekimov and Denilson Matos are headliners of the event. It will be the 12th MMA fight for the Russian athlete from the Kuznya fight club. Ekimov had no losses in his career. He is one of the most successful Series fighters and he is the Gorilla MMA Series Winner bronze titleholder. Matos from Brazil will debut in the Series. He has a 13-6 record and he is a more experienced fighter. Ekimov and Matos will fight for the Gorilla MMA Series Winner silver title.
One of the best Series fighters Dimitry Andryushko will face Asif Abdurakhmanov in the co-main fight of the Gorilla MMA Series-45: Peter Strike. The Heavyweight Dimitry, also known as Mastiff, will fight for the 4th time in the Series and he won in the previous 3 fights. Abdurakhmanov will debut in the Series. Asif has a 3-1 pro MMA record. He is back after 7 months brake.
Andrey Lebedev will face Mamadiiar Daniiar Uulu in one of the most interesting event fights. Lebedev represents the Kuznya fight club and he has 4 amazing wins in the Gorilla MMA Series. His last performance in the Series is dated in March, so the upcoming fight marks the return of one of the most loved by Gorilla MMA Series fans fighters. His opponent Mamadiiar will debut in the Series. Fighter from Kyrgyzstan has a 3-0 record. This means he is not just a regular rival.
Also we recommend paying attention to heavyweight “Become the MMA Series fighter” challenge winner Alexandr Epishov. The young prospect from Moscow gets a unique chance to show all his skills in the upcoming tournament. This will be his third pro-MMA fight. His record is 1-1. Epishov’s opponent is Artem Dushenko with the 1-0 record.
Spectators will be allowed to enter the stands in accordance with the current restrictions. The event will take place under the most stringent conditions as determined by trained medical doctors. All of the fighters and participants are being tested and monitored for COVID-19 by trained medical professionals. Everyone supporting the fight will be wearing masks for their safety.
